Guardsman Bean is doing his service in Avestrue dutiful and not very flexible. He patrols between the bridge behind the Jagged Blade inn and the New Customs House and there he reports to Tollkeeper Nandor.
The novices Nottel and Rufus ask him for help when they discover, that Archmage Rakorium has disappeared, but Bean refuses to help them.
