He looks hungry
Hunter Owlstone in Avestrue asks The Adventurer to take care of a dangerous bear. The Bear in Dark Forest has his hiding place in a cave in the northeastern section of the forest. It is the same cave in which Archmage Rakorium may be found.
Walkthrough[]
- A short distance from the cave entrance there is a fork in the path. If the straight path is taken, the party will meet the bear.
- The left corridor through the wooden door is chosen, the hero will come across Rakorium for the quest The Missing Magician. If the archmage is in the party, then he will help to defeat the bear, making the fight very easy.
- When the adventurer deliverers the bear's head to Owlstone he will reward the hero but claim that he has no need of the head, activating the quest The Hunting Trophy.

Trivia[]
- It seems the mountain robbers attempted to kill the beast but were unsuccessful, as evident by the skeletons in the area who have poisoned arrows, robber emblems.
